in the Disciples Women's Service Project
The "Disciple Women" provide opportunities for
spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to
enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the
whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ. The Disciple Women
group is a great training ground for church leadership,
responsibility, celebration, and challenge.
While Disciple Women's programming includes worship,
study, fellowship and service, the emphasis is the mission of helping
others in the name of Christ. Each year includes several
specific mission projects at the area, local, and regional level.
The women meet twice a month to accommodate various
schedules. The evening group meets on the 3rd Tuesday at 7:30 PM and
the morning group meets the 3rd Thursday at 10:00 AM. Occasionally,
the groups will meet together for special events.
