Welcome to Bethany Christian Church. Thanks for stopping by. Check us out here on the web and then come and visit us in person or send us an e-mail. We’re always glad to make new friends and to welcome new people into our community of faith.

Our motto here at Bethany is “not to be served, but to serve.” You’ll find that most of our members are actively involved not only in service to our congregation but more importantly, in the larger community through many different service agencies and organizations. Welcoming and giving. Come be part of what’s brewing here at Bethany.

About Bethany

We are a congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). While there are some things that we hold in common with all other Disciples, each congregation is unique. See our Frequently Asked Questions  for information about Bethany's basic beliefs.

Bethany's members cherish inclusion of the whole family of God as an important part of their faith. Bethany's members range from the very young to the very mature. That's hard to find in our segmented society. But it is important for young and old alike to know each other and to feel comfortable and learn from one another.

There are currently several families who are second and third generation members of Bethany. Grandparents, parent and children can be found worshipping side-by-side on Sunday mornings.

Bethany's Vision

Thankful for God’s Biblical call to mission,
Bethany Christian Church responds as a “Shalom Congregation” in
prayer, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, worship, fellowship,
education, ecumenical witness, world outreach and service.

We invite others to share this Christian life, and seek to be
a faithful prophetic presence through actions for peace,
justice, and reconciliation for the whole creation.
